It is Friday night so the football lights will be on to honor our 2020 graduates and essential workers. Please drive through and show your support. We will have teachers in the parking lot greeting you as you drive through. Come on out it is supposed to be a beautiful night.

Grace Davis will be signing her Letter of Intent this evening at 5:30 PM. She will be attending DACC and Running Cross Country. The ceremony will be at the entrance outside of the East Lobby so that we can have more people attend. Come out and support Grace!

Tonight is OHS Lights For The Fight at the football field. This is the last night that we will have the senior banners displayed. We also have our graduates' yard signs displayed along the entrance. Come drive through the parking lot tonight from 8:00-8:20 PM.

IHSA Spring Sports Update: All state tournaments for spring sports are canceled. Here is a link to the IHSA Official statement. https://www.ihsa.org/default.asp . They have not completely ruled out having spring sports if the stay at home order is lifted.

OHS Senior Parents: If your student-athlete has a banner from fall or winter sports that you would like to see on the fence at the football field tomorrow night, bring it to the high school football field between 6-7 pm. Just drive back by the football field and drop it off.

We invite everyone to drive through the school parking lot tomorrow night from 8-9 pm. We want to shine a light on our students and community, so we will have the football lights on for you. Drive through and see our display of senior athlete banners. Below is a sample.

We will be turning on the football field lights on Friday night from 8-9 pm to help shine some light on our community. You will be able to drive through the school parking lot, back by the football field and out the exit. You will not be allowed to stop. We miss our students!

Parents and students, Due to COVID-19, Oakwood schools are preparing to utilize remote learning. To do this, we need to understand what internet access each student has and what needs they have. Please have EACH student in your household (grades 7-12) fill out the survey. There will NOT be Project Success on Monday, March 16.

All OHS athletic activities (games and practices) are cancelled until March 30th. Spring Athletes are still considered in season and all IHSA rules concerning club and travel teams still apply. If you have questions please contact your coach.

OHS is canceling all athletic activities effective today through April 5th. We will be evaluating the situation to determine what athletic events we may hold in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

We are cancelling the OHS Athletic Awards Night for March 17th. Coaches will be contacting athletes to distribute their awards. We are doing this to avoid bringing people together in large groups unnecessarily. I thank you for your understanding.
