Below is the OHS activities schedule for Sept 28th - October 3rd. Both golf matches are at Harrison Park. The VVC Golf Tournament will start at 9AM on Oct 1st. The Oakwood Invite will be at the Kickapoo Cross Country course on October 3rd and will start at 9 AM on Saturday.
Comets Golf were defeated by BHRA and defeated Westville today at Harrison Park. Travis Goodner was match medalist with a 40 followed by Kopacz 41, Sperry 48, McFarland 57, M. Goodner 67, and Halls 70. BHRA scored 181, Comets 186, and Westville 206. Comets record is 11-8.
Comets golf traveled to the Paris Invite today and placed 11th. They were led by Travis Goodner's 94, followed by Reed Sperry 103, Case Kopaz and Kyle McFarland with 106s . Seth Halls and Mason Goodner rounded out the team.
OHS Golf defeated Danville High School at Turtle Run GC today by a score of 203 to 213. Oakwood's record is now 10-7. Oakwood was led by match Medalist Case Kopaz with a 48 followed by Reed Sperry 51, Kyle McFarland 52, and Travis Goodner 52.

Comets Golf played four schools today. St. Teresa finished first with a 173 total followed by Oakwood 196, Tuscola 197, Oakland 215, and Shelbyville 227. The Comets were lead by Case Kopaz 44, Reed Sperry 45, Travis Goodner 52, Kyle McFarland 55. Comets are now 9-6.
Today's golf match with Tuscola will be played at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Findlay. It will include Shelbyville as the third team in the event. The match will start at 4:00PM.
Comets Golf defeated Judah Christian and Hoopeston Area by scores of 189-193-214. Match Medalist was Caleb McCullough (Judah). Travis Goodner paced the Comets with a 44 followed by Reed Sperry 46, Case Kopaz 49, and Kyle McFarland 50. The Comets record is now 6-5 for the season.

The USDA has granted a waiver effective Sept. 1 through Dec. 31st 2020 which allows schools to offer meals free of charge as we did in the spring. The Comet golf team improved their record to 3-4 tonight defeating BHRA 189-198. Reed Sperry was match metalist with a 42. Other scores for OHS were Travis Goodner 46, Kyle McFarland 49, Case Kopaz 52, Seth Halls 61 and Mason Goodner 67.

We are aware that there have been some issues with the Attendance Check In on TeacherEase. We are working with TeacherEase to try to correct these problems. If you do not get the check in box when signing in, please contact your students teacher. They have the ability to correct the attendance.

The OSF Cross Country team will be running at Saint Thomas More tomorrow morning starting at 9:00 AM. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions fans are not allowed to go and watch the meet. We want to wish the cross country team the best of luck in the morning.
To help keep track of attendance during Remote Learning Days, we are asking all parents to log into TeacherEase between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM to check your student in for daily attendance. At Harrison Park today the Comet golf team started the season with a record of 1-2. Team scores were Watseka 196, Milford 205, Oakwood 207 and Westville 208. The Comets were lead by Reed Sperry's 47 and Travis Goodner's 49.
