IESA Member Schools Announcement: IESA Board unanimously approved to cancel the regular season and IESA state series in the sports of boys and girls golf, boys baseball, girls softball, and boys and girls cross-country for the 2020-21 school year. Girls softball practice was scheduled to start July 27. The baseball and cross-country seasons were scheduled to start August 3. The Board delayed any decision on girls basketball. The first day of girls basketball practice is scheduled for August 31. The Board will meet again in late August to make a decision regarding girls basketball.

To help follow social distancing guidelines, Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year will be held on August 4th - 7th by Appointment Only. Please see the document at the following link for specific information: https://5il.co/il6x

Message from the Illinois State Board of Education

Due to some issues with our BoardBook software, our Board Agendas that were posted on June 22nd at 4 PM may not have been viewable for all. Here's a link to them: https://www.oakwood76.org/o/district/browse/142945

This afternoon we received the Reopening Guidelines for the Fall from the Illinois State Board of Education. We will begin unpacking this 60 page document and our goal is to have a plan for the board of education's approval that will be communicated to our community July 16th.

The Board of Education will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the Unit Office for a Hearing related to a transfer of funds. The regular board meeting will follow at 5:30 p.m. The agenda for each meeting was posted at 4pm on Monday, June 21st.
