Public Notice: Anyone interested in beginning the process for school board petitions as a candidate will need to contact the Vermilion County Clerk's Office at ccelections@vercounty.org to request a packet. Packets are available through the morning of December 21st. All completed paperwork must by filed with the County Clerk's Office by 5pm on December 21st.

Coach Craig will have an open weight room starting Monday, Sept 14th for Oakwood students. He will have the weight room open on Mondays and Wednesday. From 3 PM to 4 PM will be for juniors/seniors and 4 PM to 5 PM will be for frosh/soph.

The OSF Cross Country team ran a shortened meet with Saint Joe, Tuscola and Armstrong yesterday evening at St Joe. The storms shortened the event to a mile and a half. Leading the boys was Eli Ronk in a time of 9:00. The girls were lead by Allie Morris with a time of 9:50.

The USDA has granted a waiver which allows us to offer meals free of charge as we did in the spring. In order to pick up meals, you must complete the linked form below to request these meals. Please complete the form no later than 3:15pm tomorrow, Friday Sept. 4th to pick up meals on Wednesday. We will reopen and welcome back our students to our Oakwood Grade School facility for in-person instruction on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Further information can be found in the Letter From Superintendent Maynard at the following link: https://5il.co/kigw

We are aware that there have been some issues with the Attendance Check In on TeacherEase. We are working with TeacherEase to try to correct these problems. If you do not get the check in box when signing in, please contact your students teacher. They have the ability to correct the attendance. As a reminder, students in Grades 4-12 can check themselves in by logging in with their TeacherEase accounts. An instructional sheet for both parent and student login can be found at the following link: https://5il.co/emvf Daily Attendance check in times are between 8 AM and 3 PM.

As a precautionary measure, Oakwood Grade School will be temporarily closed on August 31st, September 1st, and September 2nd. Students will be transitioned to Remote Learning for these 3 days. To help keep track of attendance during Remote Learning Days, we are asking all parents to log into TeacherEase between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM to check your student in for daily attendance.
