Oakwood Schools and facilities will be closed on Monday, March 16, 2020. All administrators will be in their buildings from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM so that parents/students can pick up any essential items that are needed. We will completely close from March 17 to March 30.

Oakwood Schools will be in attendance on Monday, March 16th, 2020. This will be a School Improvement Day. Oakwood High School and Oakwood Junior High School will dismiss at 11:30 AM while Oakwood Grade School will dismiss at 11:40 AM. Thank You!

In accordance with an executive order by the Illinois Governor, All Oakwood Schools will be closed from Tuesday, March 17th through Monday, March 30th. We will be receiving more information over the weekend and will share the impacts as soon as possible.

To help our staff prepare for a possible extended closure due to COVID-19, Oakwood CUSD #76 is moving the end of the year Teacher Institute Day to Thursday, March 19th. There is no student attendance on Thursday, March 19th.

Congratulations to Katelyn Young for being named All Vermilion Valley Conference and All Vermilion County First Team in Girls Basketball.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 6th is an Early Dismissal Day. Oakwood High School and Oakwood Junior High School dismiss at 11:30 AM while Oakwood Grade School dismisses at 11:40 AM.

OHS Scholastic Bowl Team competed at the VVC tournament tonight at Hoopeston and won two and lost two. They will compete in the Vermilion County tournament this Thursday at Georgetown.

Our Fresh/Soph Boys Basketball Team will be playing tomorrow morning at 10:15 at St Joseph-Ogden against St. Thomas More. The admission fee will be $3 for all fans. Drive over and cheer for our upcoming basketball players.

OHS Varsity Scholastic Bowl team defeats both Schlarman and Westville tonight in their home match.

OHS Scholastic Bowl team lost a tough match in a tie breaker with Milford, but came back to beat AP. The JV defeated AP but lost to Milford. Come out to the OHS Library on Thursday to watch them compete against Salt Fork and Westville in their only home match.

OHS boys win their first round game of the regional 59-50 over GRF. They will play at 6:00pm Wednesday against BHRA at St. Joe.
