All County Football Team Members were Josh Young, Xander Draper, Gaven Clouse, Bryson Myers, & Griffin Trees!!! Dalton Hobick was Named Special Mention & Austin McDaniel, Conner Matson & Devin Sanders were Named Honorable Mention!!! Congrats OHS Football!!!
Congratulations to Gaven Clouse & Griffin Trees for Making the All-VVC Football Team!!! Congratulations also goes to Josh Young & Bryson Myers for Being Named VVC Special Mention!!! Austin McDaniel was also Named Honorable Mention!!!
COVID-19 Positive Update-11/10/21
Dear Parents/Guardians:
As of today, the Oakwood School District has been informed that we have 16 students from Oakwood Grade School, 21 students from Oakwood Junior High School, and 6 students from Oakwood High School that have received a positive test result for COVID-19. We have coordinated our efforts with the Vermilion County Health Department to promptly identify and monitor individuals who have had recent contact with the COVID-19 positive individuals to prevent further spread within our school and community. The individuals have been placed in isolation per Vermilion County Department of Public Health. All parties who have come into close contact with these students through school activities have been notified. The health and safety of Oakwood C.U.S.D. #76 students and staff are our highest priority, and we recognize the uncertainty and concern regarding the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are following guidance from ISBE, IDPH, and the VCHD for best practices and procedures to protect everyone’s health.
OHS Football Banquet has been Cancelled Out of an Abundance of Caution. Coach Craig and the Coaching Staff Plan to Meet w/ Players at a Later Date. Plans Will Be Announced in the Coming Days.

Wrestling, Boys Basketball, Dance, & Competitive Cheer Begin Today for the Winter Season. Please Make Sure Everyone Has An Up to Date Physical on File w/ the OHS Nurses Office. Girls Basketball Will also Resume Practice Today.
Announcement:
Project Success is happy to announce that programs will resume their regular schedule on Monday, 11/15/21. Students who were already enrolled in the program this year can start attending Monday, 11/15/21. For more information, call Project Success 217-446-3200.
There is no school on Thursday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day.
OGS Gym Use - Update & Clarification
*The OGS gym will continue to be available to all Oakwood CUSD #76 teams for PRACTICE. Teams will continue to sign up for space using the District Facility Use form.
*Organizations outside of Oakwood CUSD #76 may be able to sign up to use spaces upon the completion of an agreement and availability of gym space. (No change to our current procedures)
*For the period of 11/15-1/3, all Oakwood Junior High School level GAMES scheduled to be played at OGS will need to be moved to the Oakwood Junior High Gym (Newtown).
We ask for your continued flexibility as we navigate through the needs of the construction team in regards to the new addition.

Oakwood CUSD #76 will resume "In-Person" learning on Monday, November 8th.
Our team has been working closely with the Vermilion County Health Department the past three days due to the increasing number of positive cases in our community. Please continue to adhere to the CDC COVID-19 preventative measures.

Nov. 4, 2021 - OGS Construction Update
Starting November 15th, we will need to move all Junior High Practices and Games to our Newtown School site (OJHS). The plan is that this will continue until January 3, 2021 (second semester). We apologize for any inconvenience.
