Due to inclement weather of road conditions and dangerous temperatures, Oakwood CUSD #76 Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. This is a traditional "snow day" closure. There will not be any remote learning. Stay warm and safe.

Calendar Revision ~ February 19, 2021 We will be using our final Remote Learning Plan Day on Friday, February 19, 2021. We have a significant number of our staff getting their 2nd COVID vaccine on Thursday, February 18th and we have been informed that side effects are more likely after the 2nd dose, so we are going to schedule our final remote learning planning day on Friday, February 19th.

Friendly reminder that Wednesday, February 3, 2021 is a School Improvement Day with an 11:30 dismissal.

VISITING TEAM GUIDELINES - 2/1/2021 Oakwood CUSD #76 is pleased to announce our 2021 COVID-19 visiting team guidelines for our IHSA and IESA extra-curricular events. While under these guidelines, we will not be able to host all of our wonderful friends in our communities and those of our opponents like normal. We hope to give our student-athletes the best opportunity to participate in and complete their respective seasons. We will follow the IDPH guidelines, and we ask that while you are a guest at our events that you would support and practice these guidelines as well. Board of Education Meeting: Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 5:30 p.m. at the Oakwood Unit Office. IN-PERSON BOARD MEETING PROCEDURES DUE TO COVID-19: Visitors will view and participate in the meeting virtually at the following Meeting ID: meet.google.com/rga-rhemjik Opportunities for public comment will be provided during the "Public Comment" section on the agenda. Visitors are encouraged but not required to write out their comments and submit them by email to the superintendent at maynardl@oakwood76.org by 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Wednesday, January 27, 2021, and attendance would not be required.

Oakwood Grade School will reopen on Tuesday, January 19th. This is an in person attendance day for students in the color White Group. The next in person attendance day for students in the color Purple Group is Thursday, January 21st.

Due to COVID, January's School Board Meeting has been moved to Wednesday, January 27th.
